Orlaith is a business studies graduate, model and former Big Brother contestant.

In 1999 Orlaith was runner-up in the Miss Northern Ireland contest to Blue Peter Presenter Zoe Salmon and this success was followed with a string of modelling contracts.

Orlaith entered the Big Brother house in 2005 on Day 29 and later surprised Big Brother fans by following through on her threats to walk out of the house without being evicted by the public.

Since then Orlaith has won the title of Belfast's Woman of the Year in 2005 and briefly moved to London to further her career as a model, appearing in weekly men's magazines such as FHM, Nuts and Zoo as well as women's weeklies such as Hello! Ok and Closer. Orlaith was one of the competitors in the 2006 Miss Great Britain contest, but, despite being favourite for the title, lost out to Danielle Lloyd, Miss Warrington.

In February 2007, Orlaith gave birth to baby girl named Eva and in April of the same year Orlaith and Eva returned home to Belfast.

Orlaith has most recently been signed to Assets, one of Ireland's premier Modelling Agencies.
